Bramble Basket Weaving Workshop

Brambles - often a source of despair for gardeners, and of delight for those that enjoy feasting on their delicious berries. But, there is more to this wild weed! Explore the art of traditional basket making using this sustainable and excellent weaving material. This hands-on workshop is designed for both beginners and those with some weaving experience, offering a perfect blend of creativity, craftsmanship, and connection to nature.

We will be working with pre-prepared and de-thorned brambles to create a small basket that you can use to store utensils and tools, or as a pot for house plants. You will be guided step-by-step to start a basket, weave up the sides, and complete a simple border.
